Global Sales Support primary role is to deliver a professional supporting platform for the Easynet sales structure in providing:
  • Value propositions to prospects & customers,
  • Get the right level of competencies & skills to guide these prospects & customers to over-achieve their business goals,
  • Act as a centre of excellence to deliver a strong level of consultancy services internally and externally.
The Global Sales Support (GSS) function has a key role within the department in being responsible for supporting the consultants and the sales community in providing a strong support layer to let both departments focus on their main and core activities.
The Sales Support team will work directly with Carrier service providers and other third parties to get the best out of their commercial & product offers and in providing access solution optimisation. The team will also focus on sales and consulting admin related tasks and Order Entry as well as managing the existing working environment including processes and tools.
GSS will play a major role within the bid cycle and will have their own key Customers handling their orders and engaging Carrier service providers and other third parties to get the best out of their commercial & product offers and in providing access solution optimisation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS (ABCO) ACCESS OPTIMISATION - Engages Carrier service providers at multiple levels including both commercial & products. Demonstrates a clear understanding of 3rd party Carrier products and pricing, communicating this information to the sales and Global Solutions Consulting team. And for key projects working close with the Procurement Carrier Pricing Analyst. Actions are listed below and are not limited to:
  • Insures the timelines are met and obtain at all times competitive/negotiated pricing from our carriers and other third party partners;
  • Adhere to agreed working framework with carriers including working SLA for the provision of pricing information;
  • Attends the regular quote and sales review meetings with Carriers (issues related to quotations, key projects, reporting analysis, etc.);
  • Maintain peer relationship and answer product queries from other countries when required.

Demonstrates a strong understanding of carrier products & pricing and is able to evaluate & consult to establish an optimised solution commercially in conjunction with the Consultant and the Carrier Pricing analist on a bid basis. Actions are listed below and are not limited to:
  • Check access availability, registering responses in Copy Quote log;
  • Manage access quotations with official local and international partners;
  • Request alternative access suppliers when necessary;
  • Ensures back to back SLAs and delivery timelines are aligned;
  • Provides consistent structured carrier quotations allowing clear carrier product comparison.
Manage Standard Bid Responses, supporting the business and be first internal point of contact.
  • Expert user of the MPLS pricing tool during Bid cycle, accurate use and making sure relevant third Party input information can be tracked and traced;
  • Professional and accurate quality control and deliverables in the Sales and Bid Process. Manage and own the Hard Moves Adds and Changes for an agreed list of Customers;

  • Support-check or creating delivery of relevant order forms.
  • Provide professional and accurate quality control and “gate keeps” the process in order to provide the relevant order package in a qualitative way to order management in order to help improve the clean order process.;

Is a promoter and practitioner of the Sales and Bid Process with 4 key pillars:
1. Qualification - Work with Manager for timely submissions and manage resource allocation;
2. Ownership - Assume full ownership of the process related to MACD’s and Enterprise Sales; follow up on all allocated bids attributed;
3. Planning - Ensure planning for all “owned” bids (MACD’s) and gate keep planning on all Sales supported bids;
4. Governance - Assume and manage governance on owned bids; follow up on governance on all other bids;

Responsible for ensuring orders are clean and appropriate functions have signed-off proposed solutions (technical, legal, financial, operational)

Provides professional quality control and “gatekeeps” the process in order to deliver clean order package to Order Management; to be measured based on percentage of orders rejected by Order Management for non-compliance with the clean order process.

Proposal Management: Coordinate the overall bid team, and take responsibility for data collection and bid production & submission.

To implement and act in accordance with Easynet's Information Security policies and procedures

Responsible for Order Entry of the signed Order form, booking of the values in the Sales Order Value Report and handover to Order Management.

Planning and organisation – Is well organised and able to multi task effectively. Plans ahead and anticipates issues. Ensures deadlines are met and requests for information/support is provided within the agreed timescales. Takes a pragmatic approach to getting things done. Is accurate with a strong attention to detail.

Process Co-ordination - Ability to co-ordinate projects including all associated tasks within agreed Timescales. Is effective in reporting progress and follows up on actions

Demonstrates a passion for selling large complex projects to multinationals. Proactively looks for improvements with 3rd party network providers to increase Easynet competitive offers. Motivated to improve processes and information flow within the organisation (locally and internationally) through training and official communication.

Commercial Awareness - Experience in co-ordination gained as part of a sales team, preferably within the ISP/Telecommunications environment.

Communication & Interpersonal skills. Expresses self clearly, succinctly & effectively in writing and verbally. Able to deal with different situations & audiences. Understands the importance of developing strong relationships with 3rd party providers,

Technical Competency - Advanced PC skills especially in Excel. Experience in Web (browser) based online international tools.

Language skills – Be able to fluently speak/write Dutch and English, German is a plus

Numerical and verbal reasoning skills - Able to deal with a range of data and produce accurate and concise written documentation.
